Child Exploitation

Child exploitation is a form of abuse that can involve sexual, abusive, or manipulative behavior. Thousands of children in the UK are at risk of being coerced or manipulated into harmful activities through exploitation. Recognizing the signs is crucial for protecting children. This course educates staff on the various models and forms of exploitation that children and young people may experience, the effects of exploitation, factors that increase vulnerability, both short-term and long-term consequences, the impact on families, barriers to reporting exploitation, and the appropriate steps to take if you are concerned about a child.
