Pressure Care and Moisture

Price

£10.00

Pressure ulcers, which inflict significant pain and suffering, are largely preventable. No individual receiving health or social care should endure a pressure injury or wound. By identifying those at high risk and performing appropriate checks, you can significantly enhance the quality of person-centred care. Our Pressure Care and Moisture training course will educate learners on the skin's three layers, oxygen and blood flow, and differentiate between pressure ulcers and moisture lesions. It will also cover common pressure points, signs and symptoms, and the grading of pressure ulcers. Additionally, the course addresses identifying individuals at high risk, methods for prevention, treatment, and reduction of pressure ulcers, and the properties and functions of various dressings.
