Substance Misuse Awareness

Staff working with young or vulnerable individuals may encounter issues related to the misuse of alcohol, drugs, or other substances. Many individuals suffering from substance abuse may develop health complications requiring medical care. This Substance Misuse Awareness Training Course offers an overview of substance misuse issues in the UK, the risks of misuse among children and young people, the types of substances that can be abused, how to identify signs of substance misuse, and strategies to address this issue.
