Understanding Epilepsy

Our Understanding Epilepsy course is designed for school staff and is ideal for those who work with or around children, including teachers, headteachers or senior leaders, teaching assistants, sports coaches, and childminders. This course ensures you can understand and identify what epilepsy is, how it can affect children and young people in education, the types of seizures, their triggers, and how to treat them. On average, one child in every primary school and five in every secondary school are diagnosed with epilepsy.
